Moon child story
PESAR MAH (Son of the Moon) illustration book is inspired by the old Spanish folk song “Hijo de la Luna”, which tells the story of a lonely gypsy woman who prays to the moon for a husband and a child.
I chose this story to illustrate because it offers a bold and poetic way to explore the theme of difference in skin color.
Watercolor was my medium of choice, as its fluidity and softness perfectly match the emotional and mystical atmosphere of the story.
This piece was my first illustration project, and I deeply enjoyed every step of creating it.

Accidental illustation
One day, a drop of watercolor accidentally fell on my paper by mistake. As I looked closer, I began to see shapes and characters hidden within it.
That moment sparked an idea — I added more watercolor drops randomly and used ink pen lines to bring them to life.
This spontaneous process gave birth to a series of imaginative illustrations, each born from coincidence and creativity.
These characters can be applied in various design contexts such as print, packaging, or decorative products

Poster paint drawing
Created a series of paintings using gouache ( poster-paint) and a very limited color palette.
I restricted myself to only the few colors I had pre-mixed, without adding any new shades of color, in order to explore how depth, light, and shadow could be expressed through only warm or cool tones.
The result is a cohesive collection of gouache drawings that balance simplicity and atmosphere — suitable for use in various product design applications.
